Why not fix the problem?

You say your app tends to produce duplicates and conflicts. That's an indication there is a problem with the app's fundamental design. It would be a good idea to figure out why you get the dups and find a way to stop them from being produced. Time spent fixing the app pays for the savings in data correction later.
WHY do you get dups/conflicts?
